Classic Harrogate Food Tour
This tour involves a fantastic walk around the cultural and historical centre of our beloved spa town and diving into the vibrant independent food scene with some fabulous tasting. We visit some of our most loved local eateries and taste amazing food sourced locally in Yorkshire. With a knowledgeable local guide and the company of other foodies, you will not only be enjoying lunch at five places rather than just one but you will also be supporting our local independents.
** Due to rising operational costs, we’ve introduced a minimum group size policy.
If a tour has fewer than 4 participants, we will contact you one week in advance. You’ll then have the option to: pay a £50 supplement to enjoy the tour as a private experience, or reschedule to a different date with a larger group.
We can cater for specific dietary requirements or allergies. However, we cannot cater for all dietary or food preferences. If you have a dietary requirement, intolerance or allergy, please let us know when you book your tickets.
What to expect
Your tour guide will greet you at Starling Bar Cafe Kitchen at 47 Oxford Street in Harrogate. Please arrive for a prompt 11.30 start. Your guide will meet you inside on the ground floor. This is our first tasting.
It is a food tour and as our visitors have shown us, not everyone shares the same thirst! Our tour has one drink included at the last stop but there are opportunities to buy your own to accompany your tasting.
Please dress for the weather – layers are best and wear suitable footwear for a gentle stroll.
We will be walking around the Montpelier Quarter of Harrogate and will end at Farrahs Olde Sweet Shoppe Parade- in Montpelier Gardens. In total we walk approximately 1.4 miles, one slight uphill section.
